What are the daily operating hours for farm tasks?

Morning checks begin at dawn (approximately 7:00 AM), with evening observations before sunset. Feeding schedules vary by season and flock needs—refer to the Feed Plans section for specific timing.

Who do I contact if I can't make my scheduled shift?

Contact farm management immediately via the Directory contact list. Provide as much advance notice as possible to arrange coverage.

How do I know how much to feed each group of sheep?

Consult the Feed Plans page, which breaks down amounts by life stage (lambs, breeding ewes, rams, etc.). Feed amounts are calculated by animal weight and nutritional needs.

What if we're running low on feed?

Check inventory levels in the feed room. Contact Moody at Geneva Food & Feed (407) 349-5250 for chicken feed/hay, or visit Tractor Supply Sanford for sheep feed and grain. Alert management if supplies are critically low.

What do I do if I find a sick or injured sheep?

For emergencies, contact 911 Pet Vet at (386) 738-9111 and ask for Dr. Terri. For non-emergency veterinary needs, call Advanced Mobile Vet at (407) 404-4714 for Dr. Ariel Smith. Document all observations and immediately notify farm management.
